We discussed what a simulation was (a simplified representation of something real), then in pairs, we sketched our simulation designs thinking about the essential elements to be included. Next, we jotted down some Scratch commands we thought might be useful - these turned out to be our algorithms! Finally, we created our stage backdrop, added our sprites, imported our Space music and began programming. We found it challenging to program the moon to orbit the Earth at teh right speed as the Earth was turning. However, we rose to the challenge and here are some of our simulations.
