There was:

     * Throwing bean bags into hoops of varying values;

     * Javelin throwing;

     * Cricket skills;

     * Standing Long Jump

Whole School Day Trip to Minehead Beach - 26/06/24

Laden with buckets, spades and towels, the children & adults enjoyed paddling in the sea, playing games on the beach, building sandcastles, digging tunnels and burying each other in the sand. We all had a fantastic day and were able to enjoy a cooling ice-cream before embarking on the journey back to school!

Caribbean Dance Workshop - 06/06/24

Woodies have been learning about the Windrush generation and how life has been for the people who emigrated from the Caribbean to Britain in 1948. They were also given the opportunity to celebrate their culture and learn some of their dances.

KS2 Christmas Carol Concert - 13/12/23

At St Mary's Church, Kingston St. Mary, Robins & Woodpeckers classes gave a stunning performance of 'Straw and Order' - a nativity with a fun twist on the Christmas story.

The cows and donkeys are in court arguing over ownership of an already cramped stable, when it becomes even more overcrowded with expectant parents, some shepherds and 3 Kings.  The judge witnesses the events of that special night first-hand and is overwhelmed by the sight of Jesus bringing peace and love into the world.

The concert was followed with mince pies and mulled wine to start the festive season.

Whole School Trip to the Pantomime - 11/12/23

The Whole School boarded buses to Westlands in Yeovil to watch the hilarious and fun-filled pantomime, Cinderella.  It was a very modern twist on the fairytale by Charles Perrault with singing, dancing and audience participation.  The children loved it but the adults enjoyed it more!

Biennial Residential to Kilve Court - 18/10/23-20/10/23

KSM Harvest Festival - 17/10/23
