We are...Treasure Hunters
We have been thinking about the algorithms needed to program our pirate robot to move around a treasure map & find the buried treasure. Sometimes, our programs didn't work, so we had to fix (debug) them.
We started off by sequencing instruction cards to move the pirate robot.
Then we tried programming him to move him from one specific place to another. We had to think really carefully about these steps.
We found Captain Blackbeard's treasure map & tried to predict where his instructions would take us. Then, we programmed the pirate robot to take us to the treasure.
