We are...Maze Explorers

We have been learning to navigate our way through mazes using directional keys and creating simple algorithms.

We started off by moving Little Red Riding Hood, one space at a time using the four directional arrow keys, towards Grandma's house avoiding the dangerous obstacles.

Then, we were introduced to diagonal arrows and attempted to direct the  mouse to the cheese.

We thought about how we could simplify the instructions by introducing a number after the directional arrow, thus instructing the computer to move the character in that direction the requested number of times.

We experimented with the space rocket to get used to this new way of programming.

Then, we tried more complex algorithms moving a bee from one flower to another.
