We are...Astronauts
We have been training to be astronauts, in preparation to navigate our rocket to the nearest planet or star.
We used 'Scratch' (block programming software) to choose a space background, added or drew a planet and then selected a rocket. We had a go at making our rocket move towards the planet, using the 'move' and 'turn' blocks. We had to think really carefully about the order of the blocks and how far the rocket had to move each time. Here are some of our successful missions.
