Summer Term Vicious Vikings
Our Topic this term is:
Vicious Vikings
We are looking forward to researching our Viking topic and learning all about who they were, where they came from, what they did, where they lived, what they ate, etc.
Humanities
Our first research task was to find out where the Vikings came from and the journeys they took from their homeland.
We also discovered when the Vikings invaded Britain and the key events that led to their downfall.
We enjoyed researching & understanding more about the roles of Viking Gods & Goddesses.
Then, we put our new-found knowledge into designing and creating Gods & Goddesses of our own.
We also researched the uses of Viking Longboats before we produced some lovely pictures & paintings for Art.
Art

During our research of Viking Gods & Goddesses, we wrote our very own Viking Myth, based on the Viking tale of 'Thor & His Mighty Hammer'.
