Reporting a confirmed COVID case during the Christmas Holiday

You may have seen on the news or social media that schools are expected to be part of the track and trace process for up to 6 days after the end of the Autumn term; for our school this will be Thursday 24th December.

If your child develops symptoms up to Monday 21st December you must contact the school immediately  kgreenslade@ksmprimaryeducation.com  and get a test and inform us of the result as soon as you receive it.
We will inform parents of children considered to be a close contact with a positive case through our text messaging service.
From Tuesday 22nd December you need to follow the normal procedures if your child develops symptoms. The link for full advice and contacts is here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/ However, please continue to send COVID information to my email address, with the subject COVID, as this may have implications for the bubbles when we return to school on 4th January 2021.
I hope that none of the above will be needed, but we need to be prepared.
Thank you for your continued support.
